There are different methods to check the expiry date of your Qatar ID to make sure you are not fined every day:
Online Method: Ministry of Interior (MOI) Website
Step 1: Go to the Official MOI Website.
Step 2: Find the “Inquiries” section on the page.

Step 3: Click on the “Other Inquiries” from the given options.
Step 4: Now click on the “Official Documents”
Step 5: Now enter your QID number to check your expiration date.

Online Method: Ministry of Interior (MOI) Mobile App
- You can download the MOI app on both Android and iOS devices.
- Log in to your app using your QID.
- Find the “Residency” section in the app.
- Type your QID number to check your expiration date.
SMS Method:
- Unlock your smartphone and open your sms app.
- Send: “RP<space>QID number” to 92992 without the <space>
- Your Qatar ID’s expiration date will be sent to you through sms.
Offline Method: MOI Service Center
- Find your nearest Ministry of Interior service center through your mobile map application.
- After visiting the MOI center, you can provide your QID to the service desk and ask them to check the expiry date.
MOI Customer Service:
- Unlock your smartphone and open your call application.
- You can type “+974 234 2000” to call their helpline.
- There, you can ask the representative to check your expiry date.
