Qatar Traffic Violations Check Through MOI website

Using the MOI website is the easiest and most favorable method to check and pay your Qatar traffic violation fines. You can follow the steps below to pay your fine:

Step 1: MOI Portal: You can use your PC/laptop or mobile phone’s browser to go to MOI Qatar’s official website.

Step 2: Inquiries: Now look for the ‘Inquiries’ button on the homepage of the MOI Qatar’s website and click on it to see the list of all the MOI’s services for residents and immigrants.

Step 3: Traffic Inquiries: Now, you need to find “Traffic Inquiries” on the left side of the page to see all the traffic-related services.

4. Foreign Vehicles: If your vehicles are not registered in Qatar, then you need to use this option.

Step 6: Captcha: Finally, verify that you are not a robot by solving the captcha.

Step 7: Submitting: Now, you can click on the “Submit” button to see your traffic fines.

Step 8: Pay Fines: You can use your “Smart Card” to pay your fines if there are any outstanding fines.

Qatar Traffic Violation Check Through Metrash2 App

The Ministry of Interior in Qatar also lets you pay your traffic fines through the Metrash2 app that they have released. You can do so through the following method:

Step 1: Installing the App: The application is available for both Android and iOS users, so you can install it on your smartphone.

Step 2: Language Setting: Now, you can choose your preferred language if this is your first time using the Metrash2 app.

Step 3: Account: You can use your QID to log in to your account.

Step 4: Services: In the services tab, you need to find the “Traffic” option and tap on it to open Traffic Services.

Step 5: Traffic Violation: Now tap on the “Query/Traffic Violations” icon in the app.

Step 6: Entering Information: You can use your QID or plate number to look up your traffic fines and then tap on the “Search” button.

Step 7: Paying Fine: If you want to pay your fine then you can use your debit/credit card to securely pay for your fines.

Appeal for Unfair Traffic Fines in Qatar

Sometimes, you can receive a fine that you think is incorrect or unfair, and then you can appeal your traffic fines through the Metrash2 app through these steps:

Step 1: Account Login: First, open the Metrash2 application on your smartphone and log in to your account using your QID.

Step 2: Traffic Violation: Go to the traffic section and then “Violation Service”.

Step 3: Violation Objection: Now tap on the “Violation Objection” service, and it will give you a form to submit.

Step 4: Violation Details: Make sure to read the remarks and then enter the violation number and date.

Step 5: Entering Details: Now you need to enter all the details like your QID, traffic violation number, and vehicle number, and then tap on the “Next” button to submit your application.

Step 6: Update via SMS: It can take up to 30 days to receive a confirmation sms of your appeal on your registered number.

Step 7: Appeal Status: Now, you can see if the appeal is accepted or rejected.

NOTE: You will only receive a 14 days time to appeal for your traffic violation after the violation date is generated.

Report Excessive Speeding in Qatar

Step 1: Metrash2 App: Open the application on your mobile phone and click on the “Communicate With Us” option at the bottom of the app.

Step 3: Traffic Violation: You will only be given one option, choose that option to open the online form for reporting any traffic violations.

Step 4: Entering Details: Now, you can enter any detail related to the violation and upload pictures that clearly show the violation.
